Tulsion A-27 MP (Thermax make) is a macroporous strong base anion (SBA) exchange resin, Type I (quaternary ammonium), supplied in chloride form and commonly used for demineralization, dealkalization, and silica removal, especially where resistance to organic fouling is important. It is designed on a polystyrene–divinylbenzene macroporous matrix that provides high operating capacity across a wide pH and temperature range, with better tolerance to organics than gel-type resins.
